This site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your IP address is visible to that service so the font files can be delivered. It is not used by us to identify you.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the cookies above may prevent parts of the site, including our enquiry forms, from working.

7. International transfers

Some of our service providers operate outside Trinidad and Tobago. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected, including using providers that offer an adequate standard of protection and putting appropriate contractual safeguards in place.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, and to meet legal, accreditation, audit, and reporting obligations.

How long we keep a given record depends on what it is. In setting retention periods we take account of:

  • how long we need the information for the purpose it was collected for
  • statutory, tax, audit, and accreditation requirements that oblige us to keep it
  • whether the record may be needed to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim
  • our obligation to be able to verify an award or produce a transcript, which means core student academic records are kept for the long term

Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to stop. Enquiry records are kept only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any resulting application.

Our detailed retention schedule is available on request from info@lokjackgsb.edu.tt.

9. How we protect your information

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls, encryption in transit, secured systems, and staff training. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us over the internet.

10. Your rights

Subject to the conditions and exemptions in applicable law, you may:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete information where there is no continuing need to keep it
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it

  • Opt out of marketing at any time, using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Information Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EEA or UK.

11. Children and minors

Our programmes are intended for adults. Where we deliver activities involving individuals under the age of 18, we collect personal information only with appropriate parental or guardian consent and handle it in line with our safeguarding obligations.

12. Other websites

Our website links to third-party sites and embeds third-party content such as maps, videos, and social media feeds. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to read their privacy notices.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
