Admissions
How to apply.
Six steps, from confirming your eligibility to securing your place. Our Admissions team guides you through each one.
6
steps from enquiry to enrolment
14
working days to your offer letter
5
working days to settle tuition
2
referee references required
The process
From first email to first class.
1. Confirm your eligibility
Email your updated résumé (with employment dates and responsibilities), academic transcripts or professional certificates, a copy of your birth certificate and the picture page of your national ID or passport to admissions@lokjackgsb.edu.tt. UWI students need only provide their ID number. Mature candidates are interviewed to confirm eligibility.
2. Pay the ALJGSB admissions fee
Payable by manager’s cheque, debit or credit card at the North Campus, or by direct deposit, online transfer or wire transfer. Admissions will confirm the current amount and the account details.
3. Submit your supporting documents
The programme-specific information form, two referee references, and official academic transcripts if you did not graduate from UWI.
4. Pay the UWI processing fee
Paid online through the UWI portal, or by direct deposit at Republic Bank. Keep the receipt — it must be submitted with your application documents.
5. Receive your offer letter
Once UWI approves your application you are issued an offer letter by email, within 14 working days. You accept it by replying to that email.
6. Pay your tuition
Tuition is due within five working days of receiving your offer. Manager’s cheque, debit or credit card, direct deposit and transfers are accepted. Personal cheques are not accepted.
What to prepare
The documents you will need.
Your résumé
Updated, showing employment dates and job responsibilities.
Proof of identity
A copy of your birth certificate, and the picture page of your national ID or passport.
Academic records
Official transcripts, or professional certificates. Not required from UWI graduates — provide your UWI ID number instead.
Two references
References from two referees.
Programme information form
The form specific to the programme you are applying to.
English language score
A TOEFL score, if English is not your native language and your first degree was not taught in English.
Intakes and timing
When programmes start.
Programmes intake in September and January, and the intake open to you depends on the programme — for example the September 2026 intake for the MBA, MHRM, MMM and MFM, and January 2027 for the MSMEM. The intake is stated on each programme page.
We do not publish a fixed application deadline. Applications are assessed as they are received, and places on a given intake close once it is full, so applying early matters more than any single date. Two timings are fixed once you are in the process: your offer letter arrives within 14 working days of UWI approval, and tuition is due within five working days of that offer.
Confirm the current cycle with Admissions before you plan around a date.
Paying
How payments are made.
The ALJGSB admissions fee and your tuition can be paid by manager’s cheque, debit or credit card at the North Campus, or by direct deposit, online transfer or wire transfer. Personal cheques are not accepted.
The UWI processing fee is paid separately, either online through the UWI portal or by direct deposit at Republic Bank. Keep the receipt and submit it with your application documents.
Account details for direct deposits are provided by Admissions — contact admissions@lokjackgsb.edu.tt or call +1 (868) 299-0218. Ask them about payment plan options and about GATE funding at the same time.
