Overview

About this course.

Today’s professional faces a number of challenges that can potentially have a negative impact on the quality of life. Given the volatility and uncertainty in the global economy and the disruptions caused by rapid technological advancements, organisations must constantly change and adapt if they were to survive. This places increased demands on professionals to motivate their staff and themselves to deliver improved levels of productivity and meet performance goals.

These demands often affect work/life balance and ultimately lead to burnout.

According to the Gallup Corporation’s 2025 State of the Global Workplace Report, managers registered the largest decrease in well-being amongst all categories of employees between 2023 and 2024. So, is it possible for professionals to meet increased demands for performance excellence while maintaining control of their work/life balance?
