Overview

About this course.

You don't need to be an accountant to lead with financial confidence, but you do need to understand how money moves through your organisation. Every pricing decision, budget request and investment proposal you make is judged in financial terms. Without that fluency, good ideas get delayed, questioned or lost.

Finance for Non-Finance Leaders is a practical online programme that fills the gaps in your financial knowledge, without the jargon. Over six evening sessions, you will learn to read and interpret income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements, understand what drives cost and profitability, build and use budgets, and evaluate key business and investment decisions. Led by Dr. Balraj Kistow of the Lok Jack GSB, you will leave able to speak the language of finance, make sharper decisions and communicate your department's performance with confidence.
