Professional certificate
Professional Certification in Anti-Money Laundering
Fifteen modules over fifteen weeks, delivered with the AMLFC Institute, covering anti-money laundering, terrorist and proliferation financing, and financial crimes prevention.
Overview
About this course.
This professional certification includes 15 modules over a period of 15 weeks covering all the key elements of anti-money laundering, countering the financing of terrorism, countering the financing of proliferation and financial crimes prevention. Money laundering, terrorism financing, proliferation financing and financial crime can damage a business’s assets and reputation, so compliance with all applicable laws and regulations is of high importance.
Businesses mandated by these regulations must implement and maintain a compliance programme composed of four pillars: policies and procedures, a designated compliance officer, an ongoing training programme, and independent audit. By law, regulated businesses should accept only those customers whose source of wealth and funds can reasonably be established as legitimate.
The curriculum delivers to the marketplace individuals with practical knowledge of the field, able to work for the private sector, regulators, enforcement agencies and governments.
