Terms of Use

The terms on which you may use this website and send us information through it.

Effective date: 19 August 2026 · Last updated: 19 August 2026 · Version: 1.0

1. Who we are

This website is operated by The Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business ("the School", "we", "us", "our"), 1 Max Richards Drive, Uriah Butler Highway North West, Mount Hope, Trinidad and Tobago.

You can reach us at info@lokjackgsb.edu.tt or on +1 (868) 299-0218.

2. Accepting these terms

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

We may change these terms. The effective date above shows when they were last revised, and the version you find on this page at the time you use the site is the version that applies.

3. Information on this site is for guidance

We take care to keep this website accurate and current. Even so, the information here is published for general guidance and does not form part of any contract.

  • Programme content, modules, delivery mode, timetables, entry requirements, fees, start dates, and the members of faculty who teach a programme may change.
  • A programme, course, or event may be rescheduled, changed, or withdrawn, including where there are too few registrations to run it.
  • Fees quoted on this site are indicative. The fees that apply to you are those confirmed to you in writing by the School.
  • Where anything on this website conflicts with an offer letter, registration agreement, invoice, programme handbook, or other document issued to you directly by the School, that document prevails.

Please check the position with the relevant department before making a decision that depends on it. If you are unsure which document applies to you, contact admissions@lokjackgsb.edu.tt.

4. Enquiries, registrations, and applications

This site lets you send us enquiries and requests through online forms.

  • Sending an enquiry, requesting a brochure, or registering interest does not create a contract between you and the School, and does not guarantee you a place, a booking, or an engagement.
  • An application is only accepted, a place only offered, and a booking only confirmed when we tell you so in writing.
  • You agree that the information you give us is accurate, and that it is yours to give. If you submit someone else's details, you confirm you may do so.
  • Admission and selection decisions are made under the School's own academic policies and criteria.

How we handle the personal information you send us is set out in our Privacy Policy.

5. Fees, payment, and purchases

Where you buy a place on a course, a facility booking, or another product or service from us, the commercial terms that apply are those set out in the quotation, registration form, or invoice we issue to you, together with our standard terms and conditions of sale.

Nothing on these pages varies the refund, cancellation, or deferral terms that apply to a particular programme or booking. Those are confirmed to you at the point of registration.

6. Acceptable use

You may use this site for your own information and for dealing with the School. You must not:

  • use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, or to impersonate anyone
  • submit false, misleading, abusive, defamatory, or unlawful content through our forms
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system
  • introduce malware, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or damage the site
  • harvest data from the site by automated means, including scraping contact details of our staff or faculty
  • use our forms to send unsolicited commercial messages

We may suspend or withdraw access to the site, and report the matter to the relevant authorities, where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.

7. Intellectual property

Unless we say otherwise, the content of this site — including text, images, page design, logos, brochures, course outlines, and other documents — belongs to the School or to the parties who licensed it to us, and is protected by copyright and trade mark law.

You may view, download, and print material from this site for your own non-commercial use, and for the purpose of dealing with the School. You must not otherwise copy, republish, distribute, or adapt it, or use our name or logo, without our written permission.

Requests for permission may be sent to info@lokjackgsb.edu.tt.

8. Links to other websites

This site links to websites run by other organisations, and to documents hosted elsewhere. We provide those links for convenience. We do not control those sites, we do not endorse their content, and we are not responsible for them or for their privacy practices.

9. Availability of the site

We do not guarantee that this website, or any part of it, will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw, or change any part of the site for operational or business reasons, and we will try to give reasonable notice where we can.

You are responsible for the arrangements you need in order to reach the site, and for making sure that anyone accessing it through your connection is aware of these terms.

10. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site, or from reliance on information published on it, where that loss was not reasonably foreseeable. In particular we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of anticipated savings.

We do not guarantee that this site is free of viruses or other harmful components, and you are responsible for the virus protection and security of your own device.

11. Privacy and accessibility

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this site, why we collect it, and what rights you have. Our Accessibility Statement sets out how accessible the site is and how to report a barrier.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.
