Accessibility Statement

The Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, whatever their ability or technology.

Statement prepared: 19 August 2026 · Last reviewed: 19 August 2026 · Method: self-assessment

1. Our commitment

We want everyone who visits this website to be able to find what they need, understand what they find, and complete what they came to do — whether that is reading about a programme, downloading a course outline, or sending us an enquiry.

We treat accessibility as part of building and maintaining the site, not as a separate exercise. Where we fall short, we want to hear about it and put it right.

2. Conformance status

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This website is partially conformant with that standard: most of it meets the guidelines, and some parts do not yet.

This statement is based on our own review of the site. It has not been verified by an independent accessibility auditor, and we do not claim full conformance.

3. What is in place

From our review of the site, the following are working across the pages we checked:

  • Every page declares its language, so screen readers pronounce content correctly
  • Every page provides a "Skip to Content" link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation
  • Every page has a single main heading, giving screen-reader users a reliable starting point
  • Images carry text alternatives, and images that are purely decorative are marked so that screen readers pass over them
  • Form fields have visible labels, and required fields are marked
  • Pages reflow for small screens and can be enlarged without loss of content
  • Text and background colours on our programme pages were corrected to meet the contrast requirements of the standard

4. Known limitations

We are aware of the following, and we would rather tell you than let you discover them:

  • Heading order. On several pages the headings skip a level. The content is readable, but screen-reader users navigating by heading may find the structure uneven. We are correcting this as pages are revised.
  • PDF documents. Course outlines, programme flyers, and brochures are published as PDFs. Many were produced before this statement and are not tagged for screen readers. If you need the content of any document in an accessible format, ask us and we will provide it.
  • Colour contrast beyond the programme pages. Contrast has been corrected and verified on our programme pages. The rest of the site has not yet been audited to the same standard.
  • Third-party content. Some pages embed maps, video, or content hosted by other organisations. We do not control how accessible that content is, though we will look for an alternative where it causes a barrier.
  • Formal testing. We have not yet completed structured testing with screen readers and other assistive technologies. Until we have, we rely partly on what visitors tell us.

5. Alternative formats

If something on this site is not accessible to you, we will supply the information another way at no charge. That may be large print, plain text, an accessible electronic document, or simply a member of staff going through it with you by telephone or in person.

Ask by email at info@lokjackgsb.edu.tt or by telephone on +1 (868) 299-0218.

6. Tell us about a problem

If you meet a barrier on this site, please tell us. It helps to know the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using — but tell us even if you cannot supply all of that.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 10 working days and to tell you what we intend to do about the problem.

7. If you are not satisfied

If you have reported an accessibility problem to us and you are not satisfied with our response, contact us again and ask that the matter be escalated within the School. We will review it and respond to you directly.
