About Mahadeo.
Varuna Anil Mahadeo is an experienced HSSE practitioner and trainer with over 17 years' experience focused on workplace safety standards. He has served as HS&E Officer at the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards, HS&E Consultant to Premier Quality Services, and Safety and Senior Inspector at the Occupational Safety and Health Agency.
He is currently HSE Manager at SM Jaleel and Company and operates 8th Lane HSE Consulting, providing consultancy and training across Trinidad and Tobago's industrial sectors. He has served on Cabinet-appointed committees for occupational safety standards, the Radiation Protection Working Group and the Pesticides and Toxic Chemicals Control Board.
He has over ten years' experience tutoring at tertiary level and has lectured for six years on occupational health and safety in the Master of Human Resource Management programme.
