Profile

About Dr Paula Thomas.

Dr Paula Thomas has been adjunct faculty for over ten years, teaching business psychology with a student-centred approach and coaching students through practicum experiences.

She is Chief Engagement Officer at People Centric Consulting, focusing on economic development in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean, and applies the principles and theories of business psychology to help leaders increase organisational value through their people.

Her primary research interest is the concept of calling in work. Her research across English-speaking Caribbean economies examines work ethic, work orientation and generational cohorts, finding that employees who view work as a calling demonstrate stronger professional attitudes and beliefs.
